The beautiful cottage overlooks the beach in Porthleven. Sleeping six guests and two hairy hounds, the property suits both groups of friends and large families. Spend your days on the beach or walking the coast path, before returning to your Cornish bolthole to relax by the wood burner or sip a sundowner on the terrace. The bustling market towns of Penzance and Helston are within 12 miles of the property.
Enter via the sunroom, where you can relax with a morning coffee and admire the far-reaching sea views. From here, move into the cosy lounge/diner, with characterful exposed beams and stonework. The hounds will love dozing by the warming wood burner, whilst you snuggle up on the sofa to watch the Smart TV or a DVD, and you can all come together for delicious meals around the large dining table. This room opens into a stylish kitchen, where there is ample space for the dog beds, as well as a breakfast bar and additional comfortable seating. Just off the kitchen is a handy porch area. Four bedrooms await upstairs: a king-size and double with sea views, and two cosy singles. A chic family bathroom completes the property. Please note, your hairy guests are only permitted on the ground floor. Outside there’s a small, enclosed terrace with seating and uninterrupted views across Mounts Bay.
Porthleven is a vibrant fishing port with a great selection of woof-welcoming eateries. Enjoy strolls around the harbour, or head down to the beach (the eastern end is woof friendly all year) to let your four-pawed pals splash in the waves. The South West Coast Path passes through the town, offering great dog-walking opportunities. Just along the coast is the remote landscape of The Lizard Peninsula, where you and your hairy sidekicks can discover secluded beaches and woodland trails.
