This elegant family home is just 0.5 miles from the idyllic fishing village of Mousehole. Sleeping 12 guests and two hairy companions, the holiday home is ideal for family get-togethers and reunions with friends. The property has something for everyone, including an indoor pool, vast garden where children and dogs can play, and a variety of living and dining areas. Nearby doggy days out include The Minack Theatre (8.5 miles) and Trengwainton Garden (5 miles).

The detached, period property enjoys an elevated position, with far-reaching views across farmland towards the sea. Original features, coupled with vibrant paintwork and statement furniture, create a unique backdrop to your holiday. The lounge and the drawing room both have open fires for the hounds to doze besides, and there is a third lounge/playroom where they can retreat if all the socialising gets too much. From here, you can access the indoor swimming pool. The impressive dining room overlooks the garden and has a table to seat everyone; an archway leads from here to the bespoke, fitted kitchen. The seven bedrooms are located on the first floor, along with two bathrooms. The enclosed garden and orchard are a haven for woofers, with lots of interesting sniffs to investigate. There is also furniture for enjoying mealtimes in the Cornish sunshine. Please be aware there is a pond and children should be supervised.

Mousehole is full of Cornish charm, with a picturesque harbour, narrow streets, and fishermen’s cottages. The village is extremely welcoming of pups, with many eateries happily accommodating four-legged diners. There are some stunning walks to enjoy with the furballs along the South West Coast Path, offering spectacular views of Saint Michael’s Mount. Many of Cornwall’s beaches are paw friendly, including nearby Gwenver Beach (8 miles), with its gorgeous white sand and crystal-clear waters.

We had a wonderful family holiday and were very happy to have so much space and the pool. The garden was much smaller than we thought and only a tiny part was secure for children and dogs and we had not realised we were so close to neighbouring properties. Having said all of this we had a marvellous time together and worked around any difficulties.Read more The lady who looks after the property, Paula, was so friendly and helpful. I hope our feedback helps you. The house has so much old world charm and we would return. Hide

Just a line to say thank you so much for having such a lovely house! We had a ball and a week was not enough. The home is so beautiful and my friends and I hope to stay there again when we return in two years.

Just a note to say how we have all enjoyed our stay in your lovely house. It's been pefect for our family whose ages range from 3 to 79 years. The swimming pool has been a big hit too as you can imagine. It was a pity the weather wasn't better but it hasn't stopped us enjoying our stay in your lovely place.
