The chocolate-box cottage enjoys an idyllic location in the heart of the Cornish countryside. The property sleeps two humans and three hounds, who will be delighted to discover comfy dog beds, bowls, and treats on arrival. There’s also an enclosed garden for them to sniff and explore, whilst you dine in the overlooking conservatory. Nearby Penzance (3 miles) is packed with things to see and do with the pups, including a stunning National Trust garden and access to the South West Coast Path.
Enter the holiday home into the welcoming lounge/kitchen, which has a cosy wood burner to snuggle in front of after a long dog walk. Share light snacks at the breakfast bar, or head into the formal dining area, which is located in a beautiful conservatory. This sunny spot allows you to enjoy the feeling of outdoor dining, whatever the weather. Upstairs, you’ll find the super-king-size bedroom, which is decorated in cool tones and has countryside views (this room can also be made up as a twin on request). Completing the property is a stylish shower room. The garden has a country-cottage feel, with pretty flowers and potted plants and is fully enclosed, so your canine pals can happily potter around. There’s also furniture for dining under the stars in summer months.
Penzance is a lively market town with a lot to offer. Peruse its boutiques, galleries, and gift shops, before tucking into some delicious seafood in one of the many paw-friendly eateries. Right in the heart of the town is the doggy-friendly Trengwainton Garden, which offers a quiet sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle. Take time out to wander amongst the vibrant floral displays and weave along the wooded paths. Alternatively, head high above the town to Madron Carn, for spectacular views and vast, open countryside.
