A superb property directly overlooking the sea in the fishing port of Porthleven is a great location for family or friends, plus their canine companions, to explore the beautiful Cornish coast and countryside. Sleeping five guests and two dogs, this stylishly furnished holiday home has glorious panoramic views from a large, enclosed patio running the whole width of the property. Just 200 metres away is the 3-mile-long strand where your pets can revel in the sand and surf.
There are wonderful sea views throughout the property, which features shades of marine blues, white and pale wood. The large lounge has a cosy window seat, where you and your dogs can curl up to watch the waves roll in. A door opens out to the patio, with steps down to a small, fenced grass area— ideal for pups’ playtime. A dining area, spacious kitchen and pretty single bedroom complete this floor. The ground floor houses two bedrooms: a sumptuous king-size with a private balcony and a double, both with the same glorious sea views.
Lively Porthleven has shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants serving freshly caught seafood. From here, beautiful clifftop walks along the South West Coast Path in either direction offer splendid views, wildflowers and a wealth of exciting new smells for Felix or Poppy to enjoy. Head 3 miles along the path to year-round, dog-friendly Gunwalloe Cove on the wild and rugged Lizard Peninsula. From the white sand and coloured rocks of famous Kynance Cove (14 miles), take a scenic 2-mile walk to Lizard Point, for spectacular coastal views. Visit the Seal Sanctuary at Gweek (8 miles) where pets on the lead are greeted with doggy treats, and the fascinating Museum of Cornish Life in Helston (2.5 miles).
