This stylish apartment is in the historic fishing port of Porthleven. The property sleeps five guests and two hounds, and suits both families and groups of friends. Enjoy wild and windy dog walks along the dramatic South West Coast Path, or wander down to the paw-friendly beach (30 metres) to throw a ball for the pups. In the evening, toast to a fabulous holiday on your private balcony overlooking the bay.
The bright and airy first-floor apartment is decorated in a contemporary style, with uplifting red accessories throughout. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has comfortable leather sofas to relax on and watch the TV after a long dog walk. Rustle up delicious meals in the sleek kitchen area, to enjoy together around the dining table. This room boasts stunning sea views and has French doors opening onto a small balcony. The first bedroom – a king-size – has an en-suite shower room, and there is also a twin, and a single bedroom. A stylish family bathroom completes the apartment. Outside, you’ll find an enclosed garden with a patio and outdoor furniture, and a lawn where the pups can play.
Grab the dog leads and head out for an early-morning potter around the town; watch the colourful fishing boats heading out from the harbour, before enjoying a coffee in one of the woof-friendly cafes. Later in the day, get cosy in a traditional Cornish pub or tuck into some delicious seafood in one of the many restaurants. Just along the coast, you’ll find The Lizard Peninsula. Visit the white sands and turquoise waters of Kynance Cove (get there early or in the evening to avoid the dog ban), or let the woofers charge around on the rugged beach at Mullion Cove (both within 15 miles).
