Porthleven has a picturesque, rugged beach of sand and shingle. On the eastern side you’ll find an area that welcomes canine visitors all year, and there are some stunning coastal walks that branch away from here to Praa Sands (5 miles) and Saint Michael’s Mount (8 miles). The Lizard Peninsula is just along the coast and has spectacular walking opportunities, as well as beauty spots such as Kynance Cove and Lizard Point (within 15 miles).
