This ground floor apartment is the perfect escape for a couple and their dog. Based just next to the stunning beach at Saundersfoot, it’s possible to while away days on the sand or go for long walks along the coastline. The property itself is welcoming and comfortable with everything a couple should need to truly get away from it all.

You enter the apartment through patio doors, which are at the back of the building. You’ll find that the living area is entirely open-plan with the lounge, dining room and kitchen all in one room. It’s tastefully decorated and makes the most of the light flooding in from the windows and doors. The bedroom has a double bed and is equally light and bright, as is the modern bathroom. Guests can make use of the apartment’s garden which comes with garden furniture, but it’s also a great space for a dog to run around. The apartment can be rented with the property above it, which is part of the main house.

Saundersfoot is a quaint and charming village on the stunning Pembrokeshire coast. It’s perfectly possible not to venture much further than the outskirts of the village, or go beyond its beach, but there is plenty to do a little further afield too. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is a prime example and has miles and miles of walks for your dog to expend its energy. Tenby is a vibrant seaside town with its own long stretch of sand too plus countless cafes and pubs - many of which will welcome your dog with open arms.

The mattress on the basement bed is very worn and therefore offers little support. Maybe the owners could consider a new bed, maybe a bit wider... and at least replace the mattress. To be honest we even considered sleeping on one of the corner sofas, which are much firmer. We still love Ty Glas, bed notwithstanding... and look forward to visitRead moreing again at the beginning of December. Hide

An excellent apartment with a good situation. Slight improvements would be more comfortable sofa, and just a small thing but a teapot would be useful. We really enjoyed the place though.

The lower patio basically is a mess. Too many overgrown and uncared for shrubs making it difficult to get suitcases past and definitely not good when it has been raining as you cannot help catching them. Where the patio table is situated this needs tidying up, lots of things just dumped there. (I do not expect to have to sor this out on holiday). ARead morelso of cocern is the fact that we had no key access the front door which had there been a fire emergency would have been a major problem. No keys available to open the bi-folding doors on either patio or balcony which was disappointing given the temperature of high twenties last week. Hide
