Newly-renovated, this 18th-century blacksmith’s cottage is set in a secluded spot in the beautiful Llanbedrog, and less than a mile from the beach. This property is in the perfect location for a small family and their four-legged friend to explore the area’s natural beauty with a number of walkies from your doorstep.

Walk into this contemporary cottage to find an open-plan style layout with a welcoming blend of contemporary and traditional features. The living space boasts an inglenook, clear-view wood burner, which the pup will love snoozing in front of, while a grandfather clock, two comfortable sofas and a Smart TV offers creature comforts that will make your stay a cosy one. Cook everyone’s favourite meals in the kitchen before taking to the patio area, to have a glass or two with your eats. Heading upstairs, you’ll find a spacious double bedroom and single bedroom, both with TV’s to catch up on your boxsets. If the night is still young, soak and stargaze in the private hot tub set within the enclosed garden area. Your canine chum will adore running free in this space while you look to unspoilt dark skies.

For those fancying a dip in the ocean, feeling the sand under paws or chasing sticks for miles, make the less than a mile journey to the shore of Llanbedrog where a happy hound can run off their energy. Humans will love looking at the mountains of Snowdonia while pacing the sands. Llanbedrog is famed for its spectacular scenery and its mansion house, Plas Glyn y Weddw, scattered with galleries, tea room and gardens which the pooch will enjoy wandering. The cottage is in a great position in the village, both the pubs within walking distance and serve good pub food. The hot tub is a bonus after a day out walking . Overall a comfortable and well maintained holiday cottage.

We had a lovely, cosy stay in this cottage which was well equipped and comfortable. The garden was nice and secure for our small dog to roam whilst we used the hot tub. Parking was tight and onto a narrow lane so we had to park in the car park near by. Ok if you have a small/medium car and I think this should have been mentioned in the description. Well equipped and clean although the shower cubicle needs some attention, re grouting and siliconing. Could have done with a clothes maiden and a vacuum. A sweeping bruRead moresh isnt very good to remove dog hairs and I would have liked to have been able to hoover during our stay. Central location for visiting the peninsula and local pub is dog friendly (need to book). Didnt get to use the outside area much as weather was mixed and quite cold but nice furniture and obviously the hot tub and bbq was available. Log burner was great for the chilly nights Hide

Beautiful cottage inside & out, the only reason for the mark down is the three seat sofa is quite worn & not very comfortable compared to the rest of the items in the cottage which were of a high standard.
