Gather friends, family and a pair of four-pawed loved ones for a big group getaway at this renovated mill house. Sleeping ten and surrounded by extensive grounds, it has its own riverside beach and waterfall – now that’s what we call ‘bow-wow-factor’!
A striking blend of traditional and modern styling sets the scene for a fabulous big group break at this beautiful detached holiday cottage. Whether your days are busy or laid-back, time together is the focus here: watch TV in the spacious main sitting room, curl up on a sofa in the second lounge, or share chef duties in the large kitchen, which comes with all the must-haves for a true home-from-home experience. The dogs may wander room-to-room, but are sure to stretch out strategically between the wood burner and refectory table as you dine here. A utility room and family bathroom complete the convenience of the ground floor while, upstairs, you’ll find two king-size bedrooms with fantastic views of the river, and a double bedroom overlooking the garden. A fourth room contains two sets of bunk beds, and a tiled shower room adds to the first-floor comfort. There are lots of ways to let off steam in the large terraced grounds – stroll through the woods and sit on the pebbled riverbank, or walk on further to the nearby waterfalls. Outside lights plus chairs and sun loungers dotted around the grounds encourage guests to really explore, and there’s a large gas BBQ with a picnic table and chairs for al fresco feasts too.
