This fantastic property truly has something for everyone! Family- and pet-friendly with three en-suite bedrooms – one on the ground floor – it elevates the fun factor with a hot tub and games room.
Surrounded by nature, this former outbuilding has a working farm on the doorstep and welcomes guests with typical country-style warmth. Step through the modern stable door and you’re in a homely kitchen/diner where six can linger comfortably around the large table for meals and plan-making while the dogs stretch out at your feet. Afterwards, relocate to the cosy lounge where a rustic stone wall and choice of seating set the scene for movie nights and naps by the wood burner. A pretty king-size bedroom is downstairs – with an en-suite wet room, wide doorways and plenty of floor space, this could be ideal for a wheelchair user. Two further bedrooms are on the first floor: the light and airy double has an en-suite shower room while the twin room has exposed stonework and an en-suite bathroom. You and your dogs will love the enclosed gardens and shared patio: get to know the neighbours – two- and four-legged – or fire up the BBQ for an al fresco feast. Challenge everyone to a table sports tournament in the shared games room and, if all that leaves everyone dog-tired, soak up the stunning views of woodland and rolling green hills from the comfort of your private hot tub.
Guests love getting to know the farm animals here, but there’s plenty to enjoy close by too – Lampeter (1 mile) has an interesting history as a university town alongside a number of independent shops and enticing eateries. Further afield, the coastline of Cardigan Bay has vast, sandy beaches – for a traditional seaside experience, visit beautiful New Quay (17 miles) for ice cream and cliff-top views. Alternatively, head to Aberaeron (12 miles) where colourful houses sit beside a harbour that’s made for mooching around and if the dogs need a longer leg stretch, you can join the Wales Coast Path. For a change of terrain, the National Trust’s Hafod Estate (21 miles) has extensive grounds, restored historic gardens and walking trails.
