This elegant property has so much to offer for a couple’s getaway or family break, including a children’s play area and a shared lawn for your furry friend. Close to walks, beaches, fishing and golf, it’s also within easy reach of all the amenities of Aberystwyth.
Set within a group of three on the site, the single-storey house is thoughtfully decorated in calming, neutral colours. The spacious kitchen/diner is full of light and has pretty views – including the play area – and a farmhouse-style dining table as well as a smart TV to keep everyone entertained. In the bright lounge, you can snuggle up in front of the flame-effect electric fire and enjoy the impressive views of rolling hills and vast skies, throwing open the glazed doors on warmer days. Traditional-style cast-iron beds create a timeless feel in the sweet double and twin bedrooms, and the family bathroom is a lovely space for a refreshing shower or a long soak. Step through the patio doors from the lounge area to the peaceful enclosed garden, where the beauty of nature offers a tranquil escape from the everyday. Unwind in the luxury of the bubbling, private hot tub, or enjoy the simple pleasure of outdoor dining amidst this picturesque setting. The lawn wraps around the cottage and towards a shared play area for children with swings and a slide.
This is a fabulous base for exploring the Ystwyth Valley, with a walking/cycling trail just half a mile from the cottage and the Ceredigion Coast Path less than 4 miles. In the university town of Aberystwyth, 4 miles, you’ll find a variety of shops, pubs and places to eat, as well as a beach with donkey rides in the summer. From here, you can also catch a steam train through the Vale of Rheidol to the waterfalls at Devil’s Bridge (pups welcome on board!). There is private parking at the property and there's a shared laundry room on site with 24 hour access.
