This handsome barn conversion stands 5 miles from the town of Bala, a gateway town to Snowdonia National Park. Bursting with rural character, the family-friendly barn offers warm, inviting interiors, and a generous allocation of outdoor space perfect for youngsters and dogs, all within close proximity to attractions that scream adventure.

A solid oak staircase leads to the first floor, where guests can choose from two bedrooms: a generously-proportioned en-suite double bedroom with antique furniture; and a twin bedroom nestling under the eaves. Both stand alongside a bathroom. The dog can explore the private enclosed garden while guests enjoy a summer BBQ on the lawn or patio area.

Bala (5 miles) is home to several dog-friendly pubs and eateries. The lake is at the eastern end of Snowdonia National Park, which offers a bounty of mountains and hills just waiting to be explored. Such a lovely place to stay! Very comfortable, lovely cottage, which had everything we needed. Owner was so kind and friendly. Great location- quiet and peaceful but easy to reach various places. We took bikes with us and enjoyed cycling around Bala Lake and some lovely walks around Betws-y-coed area also. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend this beautiful property, we had the most amazing time here and didnt want to come home (we were there a week). The cottage is just lovely, it was inviting and warm and had everything we needed for our stay, it was immaculately clean, well equipped, there was a smart tv perfect for the cosy evenings and very comfortable bedrooms. WeRead more really enjoyed the large enclosed garden my dog absolutely loved this and the view was breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting out in the morning and having a coffee looking out to the view, the wildlife is amazing and if whether is better there is a BBQ. The location was only a short drive to Bala where there is the lake and lots of amenities, it was wonderful to be situated in a rural setting and so peaceful but there is also so much to do and all within an hour.. we need another week to further explore. I would highly recommend the Bala Lake, Bala railway, we did climb snowdon but be aware if you are taking a dog they arent allowed on the railway or cafe at snowdon. (Overall we found the other locations we visited to be very pet friendly). We also visited Conwy, Llangollen and betwys-y-coed - I highly recommend them all - absolutely beautiful places. I also want to add that the owner Ann was a really lovely lady so welcoming and friendly. We just had the best time, thank you so much! Hide
