Spectacular sea views, a large, idyllic garden and cosy interiors make this peaceful period cottage the ultimate romantic bolthole. Explore Aberystwyth and fall in love with the dramatic Cardigan Bay coastline with your four-pawed third wheel.

Fetching slate flooring and exposed stonework set a romantic atmosphere, whilst the underfloor heating will soothe your canine companion into a peaceful sleep. Hunker down on the comfy sofa in the lounge as your top dog curls up beside the roaring wood burner. Then, tame the growl of hungry tummies in the adjoining kitchen/diner with a locally sourced feast for two; there’s plenty of room for Rover’s bowl beside the rustic wooden dining table. Tuck your four-pawed pal into their special blanket before retreating to the en-suite double bedroom, ensuring a peaceful rest before tomorrow’s walkies. Lead the way through the bi-fold patio doors in the lounge onto the west-facing patio to enjoy dining alfresco as your four-legged friend has a ball sniffing around the large open garden.

At the heart of the rugged Ceredigion coastline, the bustling town of Aberystwyth will certainly set tails wagging, with fantastic independent shops as well as long walks along the Wales Coast Path. Out of town, lead the way on an adventure with your pup on the Vale of Rheidol Railway (1.5 miles) and board a steam train to the legendary Devil’s Bridge (17.5 miles), boasting nature walks that your pup will go mutts for. Part of the Dyfi National Nature Reserve, treat your four-legged friend to an afternoon chasing the waves and digging the golden sand of Ynyslas Beach, 9.5 miles away.

Arriving at the property at night was very difficult it definitely needs better instructions and a property sign that be seen when it is dark.

Very efficient service. Particularly liked the reminds via email spaced out before actual departure date. This is a gorgeous place to stay and slightly better value than those quoted on other holiday booking sites. Many thanks.
