This quaint cottage benefits from sublime sea views from its enviable position, surrounded by a pretty garden, backing onto rolling hills. Deceptively large, this property is ideal for a family or group of friends, plus a canine companion who will love exploring the garden and paddling at the water’s edge. With so much to offer nearby in Snowdonia, and a pretty beach close to the front door, entertaining pets, kids and adults alike is easy here.
You’ll start to relax from the moment you set foot in the cottage. The lounge is full of charm thanks to a large, inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. Sofas are situated around the fire so you can kick back and warm yourself on chillier days, while your dog curls up by your feet. The room has exposed wood beams, further adding to its character. Guests can also make use of a snug room with a TV and chairs which is an ideal spot for movie nights, or to work at the desk. For mealtimes, you can prepare food in the kitchen which has everything you need to cater easily on holiday. To eat, there’s a traditional dining room which benefits from garden views. Upstairs, there’s a selection of bedrooms available: one has a double bed with a single, the last two are twins. All share the family bathroom. Outside, the south-facing garden is mature with so many beautiful bushes and flowers. Kids will love to explore with any resident dogs, while you chill out with a coffee on the garden furniture or eat a meal prepared on the BBQ. Why not bring your dog along with you, only for an additional £25, payable to owner on arrival.
The beach down at Barmouth is just a mile away and a great spot to walk dogs. Alternatively, you could head into Snowdonia National Park and try the Panorama Walk which is about 2.5 miles long.
