If you’re on the hunt for the ultimate paw-friendly getaway for your next family celebration or special occasion, this spacious above set on an organic farm could be the ultimate option comprising three houses and extensive grounds for the pups to play. For a day out, take a trip to explore the Brecon Beacons to walk beside the River Crai on an tranquil adventure which is sure to set tails wagging.

The Farmhouse is the first of the properties, boasting a traditional kitchen, a cosy lounge with a wood burner which your dog will love to curl up beside for a snooze. On the first floor there are four bedrooms offering ample space for multiple families between the two king-size and two double rooms. The property also shares both a bathroom and a shower room.

The Barn is the largest of the properties providing ample seating for 12 in both the kitchen/diner and the lounge which benefits from a roaring wood burner. In addition, there is a second living room which is a great option to let the canines and children play, or to find some respite with a good book. The first family bedroom with a king-size bed and a single bed, great for those travelling with younger children, enjoying the use of an en-suite bathroom for added privacy. What’s more, the second bedroom offers both a king-size bed and a double bed which is also great for families. Completing the bedrooms is a further two king-size and two double rooms sharing the use of a bathroom and a shower room.

Finally, The Cottage is a fantastic option for couples or smaller families, with a homely country-style lounge featuring a wood burner where you can curl up with your four-pawed pal and a kitchen/diner seating six. Upstairs there is a neutrally styled king-size bedroom, and a second room furnished with both a king-size bed and a double bed. The property also has a wonderful bathroom encompassing a bath and a seperete shower to refresh at the end of a long day. Outside, the surrounding gardens offer plenty of space for your dog to run around and play, while the built-in brick BBQ and stylish garden furniture are perfect for al fresco dining. And when the weather turns, the two hot tubs, games room and trampoline are sure to keep everyone entertained whatever the weather!

Spend a day at the Usk Reservoir (9 miles) with a picnic where your dog can lead the way on a circular walk in awe at the natural beauty of this stunning region. Marvel at the spectacle which occurs on a daily basis at the Red Kite Feeding Station (11 miles), location on a 160 acre family farm which welcomes canines. There’s plenty to see and do from farm animals and, of course, the incredible birds, as well as a cafe where you can indulge in a tasty treat with the whole family.

Stayed here for a long weekend as a group of 17 people and 2 dogs for a family get together for a birthday celebration. We had the most amazing 3 night stay at your property, all three properties were spotless and equipped with everything we needed. The views from the hot tubs were just breathtaking, the large gardens outside each of the three prRead moreoperties was also great, not over looked and very private, plenty of parking for all and very easy to find. I could go on and on about how great this place is, we are already talking about coming back to stay but definitely for longer next time. Thank you so much! Hide

One of our best holidays at Onnen Fawr Farm Cottages. Well maintained and comfortable accommodation, beautiful views, helpful and friendly owner. Couldn't ask for more.
