This charming historic cottage, located between the UK’s smallest city of St Davids and Fishguard, is a fantastic escape for friends, families and four-pawed pals who want to spend quality time together. Less than half a mile from your doorstep, you’ll find the picturesque cove of Abercastle Beach which is sure to get tails wagging on the sand and shingle shore.
The heart of this home is the open-plan kitchen and dining room, with plenty of space to cook up a feast, whilst the dining area features a wood burner set in a large inglenook fireplace to add a warming glow to evening meals. Sink into the comfortable sofas in the lounge for an evening of relaxation with your favourite film on the TV or a good book in hand. Completing the ground floor is the family bathroom, equipped with a quirky roll-top bath and a double shower cubicle. Head upstairs at bedtime and take your pick from one of the three bedrooms with a tasteful king-size room featuring natural wood and a feature wall on the mezzanine floor, a neutral twin room and a charming single with exposed stone walls. Step outside and you’ll find an enclosed garden where pups can run and play whilst you get the BBQ started for a long summer evening spent soaking up the fresh air.
Pack a picnic and some treats for a day out at Abereiddy Beach and the Blue Lagoon to marvel at the turquoise waters and relax on the beach with your coastal canine. Travel either by car or on foot to the charming city of St. Davids (9 miles) to see the grand cathedral and stroll through the tiny community and pick up a tasty treat en route. Alternatively, join the Wales Coast Path from Abercastle and experience the rugged beauty of the scenery, with far-reaching views out to sea and plenty of interesting flora and fauna for your dog to sniff out along the way.
