Positives: Nice building; good base; Croyde and Georgeham are quaint, the people friendly, and the pubs good. Negatives: walking (especially with a dog) is a bit hairy due to the narrow lane with no footpath, and there is quite a lot of traffic). The barn is only dog friendly in the kitchen - they're not allowed in the upstairs lounge. Absolutely superb, this is our third visit. Very spacious, comfortable and super efficient heating (important as we always stay in February). The super king bed is very comfortable and the sheets and pillows very good quality. It is close to the road, but this is never a problem. I'm a light sleeper and always sleep well. Property was outstanding! More than worth the money. Huge, well equipped kitchen. Massive wetroom/walk in shower. Such beautiful accommodation with everything of the highest standard. We stayed during a week of hot weather and loved being able to open up the wall of windows in the lounge. The road is quite busy but, with care, its possible to walk into the village. A lovely property.

Beautifully furnished, modern property, very clean, spacious and airy for a one bed, much bigger than many two bed properties we have stayed in.. Lovely big bedroom with a huge comfy bed. The kitchen is spacious, sufficiently stocked with good size fridge/freezer. The property is "end" onto the road with a short walk into Croyde Village (10 mins) Read moreor Georgeham (10/15mins uphill), however there are no pavements into croyde so caution needed. If you have a dog, its worth noting the back garden is open and part shared with the house next door so its hard to stop them wandering. There are also open metal steps leading down from the patio area to the driveway and the road. Our dog did not like the metal steps so avoided them anyway but it could be a little issue for a more adventurous dog. That said we loved the property and would highly recommend. Hide

Lovely barn within a beautiful area. Only a short walk into Croyde. A good size for two people. It is on a busy country road, pulling out of the drive can be very tricky.

Nice spacious feel to the property. Loved opening up the bifold doors on to the large terrace in the evening. All you could need in terms of equipment etc and, most important a really comfortable bed. One or two minor items in need of attention.
