Head into the centre of the village (0.5 miles) to find numerous dog-welcoming pubs, cafes and surf shops. Less than 0.5 miles further is Croyde Beach, which is canine-friendly between October and April. Saunton Sands to the south allows four-legged friends all year round. In the opposite direction along the South West Coast Path is National Trust Baggy Point (3 miles), which is an exposed headland with tranquil sea views and an abundance of wildlife.
