As you enter the property, you’ll find an open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge so you can do separate activities together, then curl up for a movie night or get some board games out. Both are restful and comfortable, so you’ve got plenty of energy for the next day’s adventures. It overlooks the River Dart and is a great place for sunbathing, watching boats or reading while your dogs curl up at your feet.
Dartmouth is a great place for an educational visit, and it’s full of history. Dartmouth Castle is just under 1 mile away, and Bayard’s Cove Fort is 200 metres from the property. If you’re more interested in legends, visit Mermaid Miranda (0.5 miles), which makes for a beautiful walk with the dogs. You’ll be 0.5 miles from town, where you’ll find dog-friendly places to eat, and spots to hire water sports equipment if you’re keen to get out on the river. To finish your trip, see some incredible wildlife at the Berry Head Lighthouse, which is 6.5 miles away and has plenty of wild birds, dolphins and even whales.
