Make memories in this spacious and light-filled property in a tranquil Norfolk village. Come with friends or family – and definitely bring the dog (or two!). Use it as a base to explore the area, or just let go of the stress of everyday life here, while enjoying the stunning sea views from the comfortable garden seating under the wide East Anglian sky. Depending when you visit, look out for seals in the sea or on local beaches.
This bright and airy property feels spacious inside and out, with added touches of luxury. The contemporary renovation of the property works really well, with large windows letting the light flood in. The comfortable lounge has lots of cosy sofa seating and even offers a wood burner for cooler weather. Prepare a Cromer crab salad in the modern kitchen and eat it either outdoors or in the dining room. There’s even a snug for quieter moments alone. A furnished patio is directly behind the house, complete with relaxed seating. The lawned garden is fully enclosed by fences, with the sea cliff just beyond it, meaning the sea views are divine as you listen to nothing but the water. Pure magic…
The local beach of Overstrand is one of Norfolk’s quieter or lesser known beaches, off the beaten track largely due to limited car parking and accessibility. It’s accessed via a long gradual slope some might find challenging. Its sandy expanse is backed by cliffs, but do check for dog restrictions at the time of your visit. Perennially popular Cromer is just two miles to the north, walkable along the beach if you’re feeling active. Any canine companions are bound to be up for it. To the south is the charming coastal village of Mundesley (5 miles), with swathes of sandy beach and seaside attractions.
