Really lovely cottage, beautifully fitted out and really nice social space on the ground floor for our family of 4 adults and 2 dogs. Beautiful views across the sea. Couldnt fault it. The parking space is a little tight right outside the cottage so we just parked our cars in the car park which is a 2 minute walk. Lovely circular walk along the sw cRead moreoastal path to the marina, obligatory coffee! and then up the hill back to the cottage. Alternatively we walked the other way to Meadfoot Beach where the dogs had a splash in the sea and the humans had the obligatory coffee. Would definitely recommend. Hide

Beautiful situated cottage, if you want peace and quiet you'll find it here. Steep walk to and from harbour but we'll worth it. The cliff walk is longer and steeper but the views are amazing. Comfortable beds, clean towels and no issues at all. Would highly recommend, enjoyed by 3 generations thank you

We had a fantastic week in Torquay in July, such an awesome area, with lots to do. The accommodation is in a fabulous and quiet location high up on Daddyhole plain, with the plain in front of the row of cottages (great for our dog) and sea views beyond, including of Torbay. About a 20 minute walk to Torquay on the coastal path, which we found an Read moreenjoyable walk (not suitable for those with mobility issues, or unsteady under foot) but alternatively you can drive by road in 5 mins. The property was very clean (I didn't have to wash up kitchen equipment before use - Yay!!) and well-equipped. The decor is contemporary like the photos. The shower has a good power and always hot (combi boiler) and although the kitchen is a separate galley kitchen so I found it a bit tight, it did have everything I needed. 3 bedrooms upstairs, bathroom downstairs. One TV in lounge. Large table inside, table outside and seating in front and rear gardens. Only downside for us was feather bedding/pillows/cushions throughout. As an asthmatic, feathers make me wheeze. Holiday cottages did sort the issue promptly though when I called them which impressed me. Overall it was a great base and we visited Torquay, Babbacombe (cliff railway, model village and Bygones museum), Brixham, took the steam train from Paignton to Kingswear and paddlesteamer along the river Dart and generally chilled. My husband and son enjoyed Brixham hake fish and chips from the restaurant 'Rockfish' in Torquay and said it was fab. Would happily return. The area is very dog friendly. Hide

Nice cottage in a good location with lovely views and many things to see in the area. Lovely walking in the area too. Bed and sofa comfortable. It is a shame there are no blinds or curtains downstairs, this makes you feel like living in a shop window in the evenings. This is something that can easily be remedied...
