Stay in this charming cottage which retains many of its original features and head off on an adventure with your canine in tow to the market town of Marazion, stopping off to see the enchanting landmark of St. Michaels Mount
Welcoming you into the property is the small conservatory-style entrance with two chairs allowing you to sit and enjoy the beauty of the garden whatever the weather. This leads through to the open-plan living room/diner which is furnished with soft seating, a TV and a selection of fascinating pictures along the walls. The room is characterful with exposed beams along the ceiling and a feature staircase to one side, giving a nod to its history and creating an instant feeling of home. Completing the room is the dining table for four where you can gather together for mealtimes next to the bright window. In the kitchen, the original features continue with beams around the doorframe and across the ceiling, paired with chic white cabinets and a splash of colour in the tiles. Here you’ll find all you need to cook up a meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The stylish family bathroom is also located on the ground floor, featuring an electric shower. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, the first of which has a king-size bed and quirky furniture whilst the second is a playful twin with pale green walls and two single beds. At the front of the house is a pretty paved patio area with plant-filled borders, a picnic bench for dining alfresco and playing outside with your four-pawed pal.
Just 3 miles from the property is Marazion where you’ll find a selection of pubs and cafes which welcome you and your canines for a bite to eat. From here you can take a trip to St. Michaels Mount, which has a walkable path over the sand during low tide guiding you to the magical island which is filled with diverse flora and fauna. Hayle (3 miles) is another great option for a day trip, where you can have a ball on the dog-friendly sands of Mexico Towans before stopping off at the nearby beach cafe to refuel.
