Cute and coastal to the core, you’ll be barking mad not to fall in love with this nautical-themed cottage, with miles of golden shoreline and the Norfolk Coast Path right on the doorstep. Renowned for its nature reserves, with fantastic birdwatching spots and wildlife aplenty, the historic coastal town of Cley-next-the-Sea is surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with some magnificent walks that your canine companion will go mutts for.

Step into the cosy and quaint lounge/dining room to hunker down for the evening on the comfy L-shaped sofa whilst your canine companion dozes in front of the wood burner housed inside a pretty inglenook fireplace. Gather around the dining table to plan tomorrow’s walkies or to enjoy a hearty family meal prepared in the beautiful farmhouse-style galley kitchen. As day turns to night, retreat upstairs and tuck in your top dog into his basket in either of the peaceful bedrooms. Your four-legged friend will love snoozing in the sunny spots in the enclosed courtyard outside, complete with a delightful bistro set for uninterrupted al fresco dining, with the backdrop of the nearby coast.

Situated on the magical Norfolk Coast Path, enjoy brilliant long walkies or head out on two wheels if your four-pawed pal can keep up from Cley-next-the-Sea to Holme-next-the-Sea to be rewarded with a sandy beach and grassy dunes to sniff around. Get back to nature at Holt Country Park 5 miles away, offering over 100 acres of mixed woodland with plenty of sticks to fetch.

A great cottage for our stay, fantastic location in the centre of Cley village with plenty of pubs and shops nearby. Great walks too on the nearby marshes. Comfy sofa and beds. The perfect cottage to stay in with a dog.

Sweet cottage in a good position in Cley. Small and quite basic, was quite cold when we were there ((March) it could do with an update overall.

Had a lovely week in Hollyhock Cottage, it was well equipped and very comfortable, and situated in a very peaceful, pretty village . We were very sad to leave this beautiful area, but will definitely come back, and hopefully stay in this lovely cottage again!

We had a lovely stay in Hollyhock Cottage and Cley village. The location is great, but we took a long time to find it, and I would suggest clearer directions, and pictorial reference from the cottage owners. Good central location, found it easy to park on Fairstead. Cottage was comfortable, some low ceiling areas - beware. Because of its location the living room was very dark and lacked natural light would be better suited for cosy autumn/winter evenings when you can shut the curtains, light the fire and cosy up. Outside space was disappointing, small Read morecourtyard with large table, very little sun and shared the area with the bins. However, we had an enjoyable break where we enjoyed many local walks.
