Feel refreshed, rejuvenated and revitalised with a break in Devon. This property is perfect for a group trip where people and dogs can come together for a good time. You’ll be in one of the most beautiful areas in the country, full of history, nature and fun.
Up a set of steps, this property is all on one level, with the bedrooms towards the back. As you enter, you’ll find the living space, which combines a kitchen, dining area and lounge. It’s the perfect place to return to after a fun day out, where you can make delicious food, relax, and warm your toes thanks to the underfloor heating. Everything receives plenty of natural light through the glass doors which lead out to the patio. Each of the bedrooms is comfortable and nicely decorated, so you’re sure to wake up in the best holiday mood – the king-size and double share a Jack and Jill shower room, while the single bedroom enjoys the use of the family bathroom. Enjoy dinner or a cup of tea on the balcony, which overlooks the river and comes with patio furniture. It leads down to a gravel garden for the dogs to sniff around and enjoy.
When you head out, you’ll find plenty nearby to discover. Adults should check out the gin-making experience, 23 miles away, so you can have something to enjoy on the balcony as the sun sets. Alternatively, there are plenty of local walks along the coast – a favourite is Man Sands, 3.5 miles away, where you’ll find a bird hide and a beach which welcomes dogs. Or, visit the curious structure known as The Daymark (also 3.5 miles). History enthusiasts should visit the dog-friendly Kingswear Castle, which has beautiful ocean views and looks across the river to Dartmouth Castle.
