A chocolate box cottage surrounded by tranquil rolling countryside near the coastal village of Aberdaron, this vibrant property is the perfect retreat for extended family and group gatherings in North Wales with a couple of waggy-tailed pals. Inquisitive pups will be in their element sniffing out rock pools and exploring caves along the sandy shores of Aberdaron Beach, before stretching out for a doze by the crackling wood burner.

This charming, converted barn beautifully blends traditional and contemporary styles, with exposed stone features walls, vaulted beamed ceilings, and opulent jewel-toned soft furnishings. Step through the hall into the bright and inviting lounge with a Velux window, throw another log on the fire, and sink onto the plush sofas with a post-stroll snack. Cook up a storm in the sleek contemporary kitchen with warm wood details then slide out the elegant bench seats and settle in for a hearty feast. Rest up in the thoughtfully styled bedrooms consisting of one king one double and a twin then scope out the perfect corner for a fuzzy dog bed. On balmy afternoons, get lunch sizzling on the BBQ or grab some blankets and enjoy an evening tipple on the patio under the dark night sky while your nosy pup sniffs out every nook and cranny of the extensive garden.

Tuck into some freshly baked Welsh cakes and croissants at the local, dog-friendly bakery in the seaside resort of Aberdaron, then bound along the sweeping golden shores of Whistling Sands (Porthor Beach), each within 2 miles. Enjoy a scenic scamper at the iconic Hell''s Mouth Beach (13 miles) or dive in for some adrenaline-fuelled water sports.

Excellent cottage in peaceful location, with superb hosts. Food truck open a couple of evenings a week, can recommend the burgers. We enjoyed our holiday.

Really lovely cottage, very cosy, south facing so outside areas have sun all day. Enclosed garden for dog. Fantastic base to access fabulous beaches - Aberdaron Bay and Whistling Sands are walkiing distance.

Excellent cottage , sensitively converted with a nod to it history , very comfortable . Unique situation , we enjoyed exploring the area , our prime reason for visiting Aberdaron was the annual RS Thomas Festival so the cottage was ideally placed for that . Son and Wife loved it too .Hope to return .

Cottage is beautiful. Idyllic location, excellent views, very quiet and off the beaten track. Owners are very helpful but not intrusive - there if you need them.

This was a fabulous barn conversion to stay in. It was very clean, comfortable, well equipped and with everything we needed for our stay. One of our favourite parts was outside with the beautiful views and tranquil seclusion. We had some great food from Cegin cae [Field cafe] thank you Denise. As a family we have been visiting the Aberdaron area alRead moremost every year for 30 years, it never fails to restore our sense of rest and relaxation, so much to do as fans of swimming, walking, beach combing and sitting looking at the views. Thank you Denise and Ian, we hope to see you again. Hide

We loved Ty Cam. The owners made us feel very welcome but never intruded. The location is close to the owners house but feels very secluded and private with beautiful farmland views. It is well situated to walk to Aberdaron or drive elsewhere easily and the area is truly beautiful with lots of great beaches and walks in easy reach. The design of thRead moree cottage has been well considered. It is a traditional stone build so not huge but characterful, thoughtfully converted, very cosy, yet modern. We had 6 adults a baby and a dog and were comfortable. The outside space is lovely. We were lucky with the weather but will book again. We would recommend this without hesitation. Thank you for a lovely stay Hide
