Let your dog lead the way to the adventure from your cottage in Wadebridge to discover wonderful walking routes such as the Camel Trail and leave no stick left unfetched. Back at your home-from-home, curl up with your canine by the woodburner and spend the evening unwinding in a cosy setting.
The living room is a bright and airy space with beautiful white beams across the ceilings, a large blue sofa and two armchairs for relaxation. Set into the charming exposed brick fireplace is a warming woodburner, with a perfect spot for Fido to nap by the foot of the sofa whilst a film is on the TV. Through a wide archway is the open-plan kitchen/diner, which features natural wood cabinets and a bench-style table with space for all guests to sit and enjoy a home cooked meal. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with ample storage, as well as a twin room creating the perfect setting for families. Completing the cottage is a stylish tiled bathroom with a shower over the bath and modern wood finishes. At the front there is a small lawn and patio area, whilst further room for dogs to run and burn off some energy can be found to the rear in the shared courtyard area.
Accessible directly from the end of the lane, The Camel Trail is a wonderful walking route that will get tails wagging, stretching for 18 miles in total which is largely traffic free. To refuel after an adventure, the pub opposite the cottage welcomes pups into the bar area and a selection of outdoor seating makes it a perfect option for alfresco dining during the warmer months. For day trips further afield, Rock (6 miles) has a fantastic dog-friendly beach where families can have a ball, and Padstow (14 miles) which can be accessed from Rock on a small passenger ferry running throughout the day has a great selection of seafood restaurants for special meals out.
