Let your dog lead the way to the adventure from your cottage in Wadebridge to discover wonderful walking routes such as the Camel Trail and leave no stick left unfetched. Back at your home-from-home, curl up with your canine by the woodburner and spend the evening unwinding in a cosy setting.

The living room is a bright and airy space with beautiful white beams across the ceilings, a large blue sofa and two armchairs for relaxation. Set into the charming exposed brick fireplace is a warming woodburner, with a perfect spot for Fido to nap by the foot of the sofa whilst a film is on the TV. Through a wide archway is the open-plan kitchen/diner, which features natural wood cabinets and a bench-style table with space for all guests to sit and enjoy a home cooked meal. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with ample storage, as well as a twin room creating the perfect setting for families. Completing the cottage is a stylish tiled bathroom with a shower over the bath and modern wood finishes. At the front there is a small lawn and patio area, whilst further room for dogs to run and burn off some energy can be found to the rear in the shared courtyard area.

Accessible directly from the end of the lane, The Camel Trail is a wonderful walking route that will get tails wagging, stretching for 18 miles in total which is largely traffic free. To refuel after an adventure, the pub opposite the cottage welcomes pups into the bar area and a selection of outdoor seating makes it a perfect option for alfresco dining during the warmer months. For day trips further afield, Rock (6 miles) has a fantastic dog-friendly beach where families can have a ball, and Padstow (14 miles) which can be accessed from Rock on a small passenger ferry running throughout the day has a great selection of seafood restaurants for special meals out.

We had a lovely stay at Spring Cottage over Easter. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and Spring Cottage had everything we needed and is in a perfect location for exploring. We were able to walk to Padstow and having the Quarryman pub so close was great, they do a lovely Sunday lunch!

Cottage was very well equipped and comfortable and was very clean and well presented . It is a credit to its owner . It is in a good location . Its only draw back is that it has no garden as such but that was not a major issue . I would recommend this property without reservation.

The cottage is very nicely decorated, and was comfortable and warm. It is in a quiet location, but not far from main road and easy to get to various places in North Cornwall. Parking is easy and convenient.

Spring cottage was absolutely perfect in every way. We only stayed 3 nights and wished we had more time there. It was so clean and comfortable, normally takes a night or two to settle in, we felt at home straight away. Everything about the cottage deserves a 5 star. We loved it and will definitely be back again soon. The surrounding area was fantasRead moretic for walking and with Wadebridge just down the Rd, you didn't need to go too far for a glass of wine and dinner, especially with the pub a few doors up, which you wouldn't know was there, as it was so quiet. Thanks so much to the owners, they certainly know what makes a holiday rental just fantastic. Hide

Lovely cottage in an excellent location. The quarryman pub is very welcoming and good food. Being able to walk down onto camel trail is also very convenient for great walks either way.

Everything about the cottage was good. Loved this quiet location, but not far to drive to amenities, the view, the sparkling white sheets on the beds, equipment in the kitchen.
