The double has its own TV and there’s also a shower room and a separate WC. Enjoy drinks and dinner alfresco on the patio in the pretty garden then hang out in the outdoor lounge with the wood burner lit. The cottage is next to a pond where you may see the resident moorhens and dragonflies and has a private lawn for your dog to enjoy.
You’re welcome to explore the owners’ grounds, which the cottage sits in, or grab the lead and wander to the family and pup-friendly pub (100 metres away). The gorgeous coastal town of Southwold is 12 miles away where you can visit the promenade, the pier, and the lighthouse. Head to the beach to relax or go for walkies on the stunning coastal path or explore the forest paths at Reydon Wood (11.5 miles). Visit the pretty town of Halesworth (3.5 miles) to stock up on dinner ingredients at the farmers’ market and browse the independent shops while you’re there.
