Many people will enjoy a BBQ on their family holiday, but this property takes things to another level with a fantastic all-weather BBQ in its very own summer house with bench seating, so you can cook up a feast whatever the weather. In addition, this charming Welsh cottage seamlessly marries contemporary styling with traditional features and even allows you to take your four-legged family member with you. On the outskirts of Llanbedrog village, you’re sure to have peace and quiet on your family break here.
This end-terrace cottage is attractive from the outside but hides a cosy yet cool interior to make you feel welcome. The living room feels modern and crisp but also offers irresistible rustic touches like oak flooring, a wood burner on its slate hearth and a wooden cottage staircase. The superbly updated kitchen has quarry tiles and all mod cons, leading through to the generous dining room with an oak table and ornamental fireplace. Two cosy double and one bunk bedrooms all have warm oak floors and cottage-style doors with neutral decor for a good night’s sleep. Outside, there’s almost as much space again with a furnished patio near the house, then a long, winding garden with established trees and shrubs where kids can have a ball playing with the dog. At the bottom is the BBQ house for cooking whatever the weather. It has a furnished decked area outside too, for dining alfresco.
If you can tear yourself away from this wonderful home from home, the coast path runs through the village of Llanbedrog. Its National Trust beach also offers a great photo opportunity by the colourful beach huts and there’s even a bar and restaurant there in high season to frequent after you’ve chased your canine chum in and out of the water – or maybe even braved a dip yourself!
