Put weary paws and feet up at this delightful, waterside retreat in Norfolk. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom holiday home is set within characterful, former maltings buildings beside Womack Water, in Ludham. With access to many fabulous walks through this picturesque corner of the beautiful Norfolk Broads, and within reach of magnificent, dog-friendly beaches, the inviting hideaway, which has an enclosed courtyard garden, makes a great choice for anyone with a pup.
Step inside to find ample space and comfortable accommodation to suit both hounds and humans. At the heart of your retreat is a light-filled lounge/diner, where your cheerful chum can pad about, and you can throw open the door to the courtyard garden on summer days. Watch TV in here, listen to music and give your pawfect pal a little love and attention. Feed your furry friend in the adjoining kitchen and rustle up tasty meals with Norfolk produce for the rest of the gang. Dine together at the table in the main room, while your contented canine sleeps off his own meal. Settle him for the night downstairs, before making your way up to the first floor to a double bedroom, a twin and a children’s bunk bedroom. There is also a family bathroom up here. Have your morning coffee out in the enclosed garden, then take your bouncing buddy and any children out to unleash some steam on the lawn, watching them at all times as it is not enclosed. There is parking for one car at the cottage and more space in a nearby public car park.
Venture 3 miles to Potter Heigham and hire a dog-friendly cruiser to take out on the water for the day. Spend time on the sandy beach at Waxham, 9 miles away, where pups can play freely all year round.
