Visit Bude as a couple or family with your four-legged friends in tow and enjoy a stay in this beautiful cottage, just three miles from the beach for days by the seaside which will set tails wagging. Back at the property, the cosy wood burner makes this a cosy retreat all year round with plenty of spots to curl up for a snooze.
Entering through the front door you are welcomed by the light, bright living room which features a two-seater sofa and two armchairs where you can kick back and relax after a day of adventures. Under the staircase is a TV for evening entertainment, and the large coffee table makes a great spot to play board games for a little friendly competition. The kitchen has pale wood cabinets, white tiles and multiple windows creating an enjoyable space to cook up a meal which can be served in the charming dining room. Here you’ll find a feature fireplace encompassing a woodburner, as well as a rustic table and chairs seating four. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the first of which is a large double with pretty countryside views out of the two windows, as well as a chest of drawers and wardrobe for storage. The second bedroom is perfect for children, featuring a characterful bunk bed and a skylight. Completing the property is the stylish family bathroom which features an all-white three-piece suite and a shower over the bathtub.
The town of Bude is just 3 miles away from the property boasting an array of cafes, shops and restaurants for tasty treats. There are also a number of dog-friendly beaches such as Summerleaze Beach where you can feel the sand between your toes and paws, and soak in the serenity of the changing sea. Let your canine lead the way on stretches of the South West Coast Path deeper into Cornwall or towards Devon and get to know the local area. Alternatively, why not take on the Planekeeper’s Path, a circular route stretching for around 10 miles along the canal through quiet countryside footpaths where no stick will be left unfetched.
