This light and comfortable, two-bedroom townhouse is situated in tranquil grounds in Padstow. It’s the perfect holiday retreat for a family and two furry friends looking for home-from-home comfort and easy access to the seaside town’s vibrant harbour, restaurants, and amenities.

Whitewashed walls and calming neutral tones create a serene atmosphere in this welcoming holiday home. Upon arrival, leave your shoes in the cloakroom and step into the comfortable lounge. Sink into the plump sofa and chat about your day while Fido relaxes on the cool, wood-panelled flooring. Numerous pubs and restaurants are within walking distance but if you’d rather cook, the kitchen has all the appliances you need to whip up a family feast. Enjoy eating at the dining table or in the conservatory with the garden as a backdrop. In the evenings, Fido can comfortably sprawl out downstairs, while you head upstairs and choose between a lovely double bedroom with a Juliet balcony overlooking the estuary or a neat twin room. Both bedrooms are served by a well-appointed bathroom. Outside, a patio is perfectly set up for al fresco dining. A charming wooden beach hut keeps your surfboards secure and a handy bicycle rack in the front garden allows you to explore the surroundings on two wheels.

Padstow Harbour is a vibrant working harbour surrounded by plenty of dog-friendly pubs and restaurants. From the harbour, you can jump on the ferry and cross the River Camel to Rock. Fido can scamper along the sandy beach here while you swim or surf. For off-beach adventures, cycle the 18-mile Camel Trail or pick up the South West Coast Path from the harbour and let your pup scamper along the cliff top.

This cottage is in an excellent position re walking into Padstow, or going for coastal walks, and a bus stop outside too, Tesco's in walking distance. Good path that leads to St Petroc's church opposite for walking your dog.

Cosy, homely house in a brilliant location in Padstow. Wonderfully close to town but its situation in the little complex of houses was quiet and restful. Parking is a bonus (having both an allocated space and unallocated spaces - the allocated space can be tight as we travelled in our Ford Transit van for bikes and boards but unallocated spaces couRead moreld also be used). The house was just fine for the four of us (2 adults, 2 children + 1 dog) but imagine it might be a bit tight for 4 adults with just a sofa seating 3 etc. But a really good property, nicely furnished and well equipped for a really happy stay. The owners have clearly tried to foresee the needs of their guests. Thank you. Hide

Overall, the cottage was worth the money But with just a couple of simple improvements such as the double bed, and make the patio a more pleasant and clean space

We loved our week stay in Sands. The house was great with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is amazing and the parking a real bonus. It was brilliant being able to walk down to the harbour in less than 5 minutes. We would definitely stay again.

Short walking distance to harbour and beaches was ideal. It was a real bonus having allocated parking next to the cottage. Quiet and comfortable. Negatives: no larder/cupboard to put general food items, although fridge and freezer were amply big enough. The fan in bathroom is very noisy and the temperature of water from shower could have been a litRead moretle hotter. Lovely gardens and well tended. Hide
