Property code: OC-BRONWY

A picturesque stonework property with a lush ivy façade located in the tranquil countryside setting near Llanbedrog, this charming hideaway is the perfect escape for families and groups of friends exploring North Wales with a couple of floppy-eared companions. Get tails wagging with windswept walkies along the beach hut-lined shores of Llanbedrog Beach before stretchy soggy paws in front of the roaring open fire.

This characterful cottage is brimming with traditional charm, boasting beamed ceilings, impressive stone craftsmanship details, and tongue-and-groove panelling. Store sandy shoes at the door and pad into the lounge where Fido will help you tend to the fire, then curl up on the sofa and indulge in post-adventure snacks and an aperitif. Potter in the light-dappled kitchen with rolling hill views and sneak some extra treats to your puppy-eyed pal, then gather the pack to wine and dine around the wooden table. Rest up in the welcoming bedrooms with quaint stable doors and coordinated soft furnishings, consisting of a double, a single, and a triple family room. Bask in the lush emerald landscape from your private patio and gaze on as your playful canine bounds and sniffs in the spacious enclosed garden.

Gear up for a picturesque peddle along the Llyn Coastal Path to Pwllheli (5 miles) while your dog scampers alongside you, then stop off to refuel at one of the tearooms with the hound-loving locals. Venture south to the sweeping beach at Hell’s Mouth (5 miles) where brave thrill-seekers can dive in for a paddle, or load up on culture and wander the lower woodland gardens at Plas Yn Rhiw House, 7 miles away.

The property is well located in the heart of the village close to shops and eating places. It is very well equipped. The parking spaces are at th rear of the building and are accessed from a narrow track opening from the one way system a couple of hundred yards away. Great care is needed when entering the track and especially when leaving and it iRead mores best to station someone on the opposite side of the road who can signal when the road is clear to exit.. Great location. We felt that some of the mattresses need replacing and were uncomfortable.
