Upon arrival at the cottage, you’re greeted by the beautiful exposed stonework building leading into the open-plan, dual-aspect living room/diner. Here you’ll find two comfortable leather sofas and a gorgeous feature fireplace with a wood burner for cosy winter evenings. The dining table is located right by the window creating a lovely atmosphere for mealtimes as a family or as a couple. Moving through to the kitchen, the space is long and thin with white cabinets and original wood flooring making for an enjoyable cooking experience. Completing the ground floor is the modern shower room which features a stylish curved shower cubicle and an electric shower to wash off the sand after a day out at the beach. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the first of which is a king-size room furnished with bedside tables, a wardrobe and a dressing table as well as a characterful feature fireplace. The second bedroom is a quaint twin with blue accents, perfect for children. An enclosed courtyard area can be found at the rear of the property complete with a bench and bistro set for seating and space for your dog to sprawl out and soak up the sunshine.
Less than half a mile from the cottage is the fishing harbour of Looe which is a great place to sit and soak up the friendly local atmosphere and grab a bite to eat at the local cafe. For walks with your four-legged friend, there is a mile-long trail along the South West Coast Path leading to Plaidy Beach which is a dog-friendly stretch of sand and shingle and is a peaceful spot to sit and enjoy the turquoise waters. Taking the trail in the opposite direction along the coast path you’ll find Hannafore, where you’ll find breathtaking viewpoints along the rugged landscape as well as a selection of sticks to fetch along the way.
