Walk to the coast at Aldeburgh from Snape Maltings (6 miles) on the beautiful Sailor’s Path, so named as sailors walked this route for hundreds of years. Snape Maltings is less than 1 mile away on the banks of the River Alde, where you’ll find great shops and eateries, and several performance venues. Go for walkies along the river or explore the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty by boat.
