A unique property brimming with Victorian splendour set on lush private grounds and perfectly positioned for adventuring along the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Beauty. This charming hideaway is perfect for a couple of outdoor enthusiasts and their furry companions. Get tails wagging as you bound along the sprawling doggy-designated sections of cliff-backed shoreline at West Runton Beach (14 miles) before refuelling with the hound-loving locals at the beach cafe. Dry soggy paws on the sun-dappled lawn while the humans sip a sparkling aperitif on the secluded patio. This beautifully presented hideaway is perched proudly in the grounds of the owner’s property.

Ascend the wrought iron staircase to discover a vintage carriage-style interior with wooden wall trim, glossy antique furniture pieces, and striking triple-aspect windows. Step into the elevated open-plan living space, pop on the radio, then rustle up a post-adventure supper in the contemporary glossy kitchen. Feed your hungry pups then fold out the dining table and settle in for an intimate meal for two. Then cuddle up on the sofa to enjoy a movie on the Smart TV. As the night draws in, descend the staircase to the stylish sleeping cabin styled in warm earthy tones with an inviting double bed – plus plenty of cosy nooks for plush dog beds. Enjoy an invigorating morning shower in the sleek en-suite before throwing open the doors for an al fresco breakfast spread on the patio.

The Norfolk Coast is a wonderful holiday destination for everyone – two legs or four. Whether you are loading up on local culture with a scamper along the Holt Owl Trail (7 miles), gliding through the rolling countryside alongside your four-pawed passenger on the elegant North Norfolk Railway (8 miles), or hitting the high seas to feel the ocean breeze in your fur aboard a Blackeney Seal Trip (13 miles) – there is plenty to keep your mischievous pups occupied.

This was a fabulous place to stay in a fantastic location. It was warm, clean and cosy with great quality equipment. Brilliant place to stay, totally unique, and ideal to be used as a base or just to unwind. Plenty of animals and birds can be seen just by walking around the drives. Plenty of restaurants / pubs in local area, a post office and takeaways besides local shops. Nicely furnished - great bed and shower. We had a great time and so did our dog

Brilliant location for this accommodation, very quiet and peaceful. The signal box has everything that you will need and is very comfortable. We had a great week, lots to do and see in the local area, particularly if you are a national trust member. We have booked again for next year, can't wait to be back. Many thanks

We have just returned from a very pleasant second stay at The Signal Box. It's quiet location was perfect for our getaway & it's a very well equipped property. Even with windows on 3 sides upstairs it's cosy but gives wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. We would certainly recommend staying here & hope to return again.

A fun quirky property in a peaceful rural location. The hosts were friendly and eager to sort things out should there be a problem. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Theres an exterior metal staircase to the first floor entrance/ sitting kitchen area, I thought the lighting outside should have been better. Theres an internal steep staircase tRead moreo the ground floor bedroom and shower room, I did find this somewhat slippery and hard to manage when carrying a case etc. My Border Terrier would not go up and down by himself but neither of us are youngsters! Personally better outside lighting and a non slip surface to the internal stairs would have made a considerable difference. For someone more agile there would not be a problem. Not a property for someone who had recently undergone hip or knee replacement surgery. Lovely local walks so take your wellies. North Norfolk is stunning with so much to see and do and the Signal Box is an ideal peaceful base to start exploring. Hide
