Nestled amid a mature, landscaped garden on the banks of the River Fowey, this spacious holiday home offers a tranquil retreat for up to eight guests and one lucky pup. With peaceful views of the river from the cottage and conservatory and a mooring at the bottom of the garden for your own boat or a hired one, this four-bedroom property offers a truly idyllic stay on Cornwall’s south coast.

With beamed ceilings, impressive stone fireplaces, and gorgeous wooden floors, this property has plenty of character and is finished to an extremely high standard throughout. The hub of the home is a spacious lounge/kitchen/diner, where the pack can gather to cook and eat, while your pup stretches out in front of the wood burner. Dine together at the large wooden table, or take your meal outside to the garden table to eat while watching the birds on the river. With a living area in the kitchen, a separate lounge and a light-filled conservatory, there’s heaps of space to relax and unwind, whether you like to sit together and chat or enjoy a little peace and quiet on your own. The large garden ensures your four-legged friend can stretch their legs before you retire to the four relaxing bedrooms for a refreshing night’s sleep.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The location is incredible, with an unbelievably beautiful garden and a private beach onto the River Fowey, surrounded by stunning scenery and so many lovely places nearby to explore. The house itself is stunning, comfortable, and very well presented. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the conseRead morervatory and large front windows were a real highlight especially for my mum, who has limited mobility and was able to fully enjoy the views. The whole place felt welcoming and relaxing, and we had such a wonderful time. We wouldnt hesitate to return we loved it and would happily stay again. Hide

This house is in a perfect place for relaxing and enjoying the river. We hired a boat for the week and was a fantastic change from driving. Fowey is 20mins one way and Lerryn and Lostwithiel the other. We would definitely use this place again.

Clovertown is an absolutely beautiful house. The grounds are absolutely idilic and you can spend hours just chilling out in the garden and walking down to the waters edge. Having your morning coffee in the conservatory looking out towards the Fowey river was so relaxing and having a tipple in the garden watching the boats sail pass and listening toRead more the birds was Tranquil. We took our badminton and croquet set and had had lots fun playing in the garden. There is a good amount of facilities at Clovertown to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. We would highly recommend Clovertown and would stay there again. Hide

Fabulous house in a great location. Access to the river was brilliant and well used by us all taking the paddle board out and swimming. Theres a gate to stop the dog getting down to the water which was great. The dog loved the garden as we all did. Lovely walks and runs nearby and not far to the coast. Great to sit in the conservatory and admire thRead moree view across the river when it was too cool or wet to sit outside. We had a wonderful week and can imagine well be back again. Hide
