Overlooking the stunning beach of Aldeburgh, this spectacular property provides a welcome sanctuary for those eager to explore the Suffolk coast. For a memorable seaside holiday with friends, family and the pups, head to this charming three-storey property.

Right opposite the beach in Aldeburgh, this idyllic accommodation is perfect for those looking for an escape to a colourful beachside resort. Despite the area’s quirky nature, this picture-postcard property has a very relaxing atmosphere, with a stylish lounge and plump sofa cushions just waiting for you to curl up in. On the ground floor, pups will love searching for snacks in the open-plan kitchen/diner as much as two-legged friends will love cooking up a feast for the group. Along with a handy utility room for sandy coats and walking boots, the ground floor offers plenty of space for the whole party. Head to the first floor where three coastal-style bedrooms welcome weary heads and a double room has access to its own balcony overlooking the shoreline.

Conveniently located, this property boasts morning strolls along the sand with your waggy-tailed pals and family-friendly spots for carving sandcastles until sundown. The rest of Aldeburgh is to be explored too and plays host to a wide variety of wildlife within the marshland, just moments from the cottage. Nature lovers will adore spotting rare birds, while foodies will love trying Aldeburgh’s award-winning fish and chips. Just 2 miles along the coast sits another picturesque backdrop of Thorpeness. With its man-made lake and inspiration drawn from Peter Pan’s Neverland, it’s no wonder this magical spot is part of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The cottage is in a prime location with sea and beach right outside,it is a quirky building with very steep stairs not at all friendly for the elderly.we managed to park the car outside most of the time but on one occasion a van parked and blocked the sea view . The heating system and hot water was excellent.

During the Friday night the big storm was so violent that it ripped the storm board and gate out ,stripped the wall covering from the passage wall and threw the bike and various small bits around the yard. We repaired the gate area and tidied up as best as possible . Nobodys fault, just the elements.

What a location! Lovely house, very well equipped. So nice to lay in a comfy bed and listen to the waves crash! Also just a stones throw from the pubs and restaurants.

A comfortable house with excellent views. Steep stairs between floors, particularly down to the kitchen. Good for 4 sharing but if 7 had shared it we felt it would have been cramped. Two very good bedrooms with sea views, the third was less well appointed.

Can't beat this location! We loved taking our morning tea and coffee across the street to the beach each morning. Sleeps 7 comfortably, and having two full bathrooms (toilet and shower in separate rooms of lower level) was so helpful. The "bonus" kitchen with full-size refrigerator and extra counter space was great, as was the ability to do laundryRead more. Be sure you can navigate stairs, steps and uneven flooring. This is an old home with recent additions, and it requires care when moving through it. Hide
