Immerse yourself in country life at this lovely cottage on a working farm in Aberystwyth. Sleeping four people over two bedrooms and welcoming one canine companion, it’s the ideal accommodation option for small families or groups of friends who are yearning for an idyllic rural retreat where they can enjoy relaxing walks with their faithful friends. You’ll adore the opportunity to escape from it all, and your pup will love stretching out to snooze by the living room’s electric fire each evening.

Step inside and you’ll feel immediately at home in the open-plan living room and kitchen/dining room area. Exposed beams and comfy furniture add plenty of character to this appealing space. Get cooking in the kitchen area and get the gang together to eat at the dining table, or head outside to the patio area and dine alfresco. After dinner, treat yourself to a glass of something cool and crisp and wait for the stars to come out, or retire to the living area to relax in front of the TV as your pup snoozes at your feet. At the end of the day, you have two lovely bedrooms to choose from. If you have the kids with you, they’ll adore the twin in the attic.

Pack up a picnic and head to South Llanrhystud Beach (9 miles), which is dog-friendly all year round. Sitting on Cardigan Bay, your pup will love exploring its long bank of pebbles. Alternatively, go to the wonderfully wild Hafod Estate (11 miles) for walkies – your pup is welcome to run off-lead in the woodlands.

Comfortable and a great location. Is the flat upstairs, not the whole property and only bathroom for the property is the en suite. Loved bottle feeding the lambs, was a real bonus.

Lovely stay at the granary, not far by car to Aberystwyth and other towns and beaches. Farm really quiet, and host lovely. My daughter loved her bedroom, and the beds were very comfortable and pillows. The electric fire and electric heated throw for on the sofa, was nice. Dog friendly as can walk straight off the property and around down the rRead moreoads. As very quiet and lovely countryside. Hide
