Snowdonia is an enchanting place for a holiday retreat. Prepare for a busy getaway with the whole gang in this beautiful farmhouse, complete with stunning views over the Mawddach Estuary. This cottage sleeps ten, with two double rooms for couples and then twin and single rooms for the kids. You can even bring two dogs! Whether you’re taking your family or friends, this spot makes for a perfect week break full of fun.

Here, there’s room for everyone. This property has space for four cars, a garage to store bikes or walking gear, and a picturesque, enclosed garden for the kids and dogs to explore. In the summer, you can light up the stone BBQ and enjoy an outdoorsy dinner, or if it starts to rain, why not light the wood burner and play a board game or organise a table football league? The downstairs has a traditional, refined look, and the upstairs bedrooms are light, airy and refreshing. The whole property is beautifully lit from bay windows and a balcony, and the sights really are incredible.

When you’re ready to go exploring, Arthog is lovely. If you fancy a climb (and can lift your dogs over stiles) visit the Arthog Waterfalls, or explore the Arthog Bog and look out for birds, grass snakes and wild ponies. You may need to keep your dogs on leads. If everyone’s ready for a big day out, you can walk 2 miles to Fairbourne Beach, which is breathtaking, dog friendly and has a great place for fish and chips. There’s also Barmouth Beach: great for canine companions and with cafes and restaurants nearby which allow dogs. If the kids want to go on their own adventures, there are plenty of choices for water sports, pony trekking, mountain biking and fishing, all conveniently located. This cottage provides opportunities for beauty, excitement and an unforgettable getaway.

The house was very warm and felt homely. We loved the open fire, the childrens toys, the Rayburn, the location. All four generations had a brilliant time.

This property is great for large groups of all ages. The beds were very comfortable, the view is beautiful, the playroom is great for the children. The owners left us some bubbly and Welsh cakes on arrival which was a nice touch! We really enjoyed our stay.

The house was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Positioned in a lovely part of the countryside with views over to the estuary and hills beyond. Especially liked that it had been decorated for our Christmas stay.
