There’s a warm welcome in store for two guests and their furry companion at this beautiful bungalow close to Constantine Bay. A secluded private garden and village amenities on the doorstep make this a great location for a laid-back break, while Fido will adore walkies along the nearby coast path.

A spacious wing of a comfortable family home, the accommodation here focuses on together-time with a light-filled lounge and country-style kitchen/diner where guests can cook, dine and unwind at their own pace. There’s a convenient shower room and peaceful twin bedroom to complete the layout. Reserved exclusively for guests’ use, the delightful front garden here features a large patio with outdoor furniture and a number of flowering pots and hanging baskets.

Constantine Bay is a true gem in Cornwall’s coastal crown; the small village is surrounded by countryside and, on its western edge, a sweeping arc of golden sand that’s backed by dunes and is dog-friendly. There’s something for everyone to enjoy here, with rockpools to explore and a west-facing aspect that’s perfect for sunset picnics and BBQs. Just to the north is Trevose Head, where you can take ¬a short stroll for views of the distinctive white lighthouse or a more challenging route around the entire headland, while 4 miles east, foodie-favourite Padstow is a must-see, its pretty streets leading to a historic harbour. Alternatively, drive 11 miles south and you’ll be at the traditional seaside resort of Newquay.

Kernyk is in an excellent location at Constantine Bay. Easy long walks to Harlyn, Padstow and Porthcothan Bays are stunningly beautiful As are the shorter walks to Treyarnon, Constantine Bay, Trevose Head and the gorgeous Mother Iveys Bay. We never get tired of these walks year after year. Better than anywhere else! Highly recommend the great Cafe Read moreat Bedruthen steps, walking there from Mawgan Porth....crab sandwiches....amazing!!. KERNYK is our favourite place to stay. Hide

The holiday home was in a perfect spot for visiting the seven bays. Very peaceful place to be. The host Pat who lived in the bungalow next door, was the most helpful and friendly lady. A very comfortable place to be.

The property was very comfortable and located in a particularly beautiful part of Cornwall. It provided the perfect base to relax after a day exploring the beaches and rambling through the many local footpaths or visiting the many attractions. Both the holiday property and the local shops. pubs and restaurants were very dog friendly. AlthougRead moreh the owner lived on-site, she was very welcoming, friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. We would happily return for another holiday. Hide
