A delightful open-plan apartment that sleeps up to four guests and welcomes one beloved hound. This bright and airy home-from-home is sure to set tails wagging. It is situated in the heart of historic Richmond, a picturesque town that fringes the spectacular Yorkshire Dales, so you can sniff out adventures across dales, moors and along winding rivers before finding a cosy nook in a local tearoom.

As you step inside this first-floor apartment you’ll immediately be struck by the lovely natural light that comes flooding in through tall windows. The open-plan kitchen/diner and lounge area is an inviting space that has been thoughtfully considered to offer generous zoned areas for cooking, eating and relaxing. Two double bedrooms are tastefully decorated in a minimalist style, adding to the spacious feel. The galley-shaped bathroom is light and offers a serene atmosphere, an ideal space if you want to draw yourself a bath to soak aching muscles after a day of adventures. Although the apartment doesn’t have a garden, you can enjoy time in the Friary Gardens less than 150 metres away.

Out and about there is plenty to see and do, all against the backdrop of inspiring scenery. Richmond is a vibrant town in the heart of Yorkshire and offers an abundance of things to do for couples and groups travelling together. Within 0.5 miles of the apartment you can visit Richmond Castle which welcomes dogs on leads, and numerous museums and galleries. For a slower pace in natural surroundings, enjoy walkies along the peaceful River Swale (7 miles) with its beautiful waterfalls. Yet more waterfalls and moorland terrain can be explored within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, which can be reached within 2.5 miles of the property.

Great location. Stayed in flat 1last year. Bedding and towels clean. The problem, only two coat hangers, no bathroom bin, but main complaint was lack of dusting of surfaces and drawers. It felt like we were the first visitor since autumn and flat needed a good clean.
