This pet and family-friendly property has an enclosed garden and is well-placed for wanders around the food-lovers’ paradise of Padstow.
Tastefully refurbished and retaining many of its original features, this terraced townhouse has cast iron fireplaces, stripped floorboards, high ceilings and well-dressed windows that all add to its cool coastal vibe. There’s space for family, friends and Fido and Freda to stretch out in the light and airy lounge, where the entertainment includes a Smart TV. And in the dining room there’s more than enough floorspace for a dog to sit in patient anticipation of their after-dinner treat. All the must-haves are in the nearby kitchen, including a dishwasher and washing machine for hassle-free housekeeping. Upstairs, there’s a family bathroom with both a bath and separate shower cubicle, and three peaceful bedrooms. The first has a double bed with a wall hung TV, the second has full-size twin beds and a TV too. The third has a day bed, which is only suitable for children. Outside, the enclosed back garden has a patio and faux lawn on separate levels, plus outdoor seating and a BBQ – don’t forget the extra sausages for Fido and Freda!
This welcoming holiday home is in a quiet residential area, with pubs, shops and restaurants, and Padstow’s picturesque harbour within 500 metres of your doorstep – dogs go mutts for all the delicious food and fishy scents here! Ready for a doggy paddle? A short walk along the coast path leads to Hawkers Cove and adjoining Harbour Cove, where there are wide expanses of light golden sand to explore at low tide. For a change of terrain, the famous Camel trail follows the path of a disused railway line along the estuary to Wadebridge.
