Get the whole gang together for an escape to remember at this wonderful barn conversion in the pretty little village Galmpton on the outskirts of Paignton and Brixham. Sleeping six people over three bedrooms and welcoming three faithful friends, it’s the perfect accommodation option for families or groups of friends who want to explore the Devon coast with their trusty pups by their side. Spend happy days walking your canine companions at St Mary’s Bay, and fun evenings BBQ-ing in the cottage’s pretty garden.

Step inside and take a moment to admire the spacious living room. With doors leading onto the shared front courtyard and rear doors leading to the conservatory, this space is bathed in natural light. Make yourself at home and then head through to the country-style kitchen to rustle up some dinner for your loved ones. Host a fun dinner is the cheerful conservatory dining room, or step outside into the generous garden, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco. Your pups can enjoy exploring the enclosed garden while you eat. After dinner, crack open a bottle of something cool and crisp and watch the stars come out. At the end of the day, there are three beautiful bedrooms to choose from.

Pack up a picnic and head to St Mary’s Bay (3.5 miles) for the day. This glorious beach is dog-friendly all year round and it’s also a great spot for swimming, snorkelling and fossil-hunting. Alternatively, spend a relaxing afternoon walking the pups at Berry Head Nature Reserve (4 miles), where you can enjoy some incredible views across Torbay and beyond.
