Spend days sniffing out adventures on the North York Moors, before retreating to this fabulous stone-built cottage which boasts a large garden and bubbling hot tub. The perfect property for five friends or family members, along with two dogs.

Enter this charming home and leave dog leads and walking boots in the lobby and sunroom. You will be welcomed by beamed ceilings, oak furnishings and superb warming decor that makes this property feel like a real home from home. Cook up a storm in the country-style kitchen, before getting cosy in front of the fire and watching movies while the dogs snooze by your feet. A handy utility room has laundry facilities, ideal for cleaning dog towels. Upstairs are two bedrooms, both doubles, one of which has an en-suite bathroom. There is a separate bathroom with a shower over the bath. Outside is a fantastic split-level garden. It is fully enclosed, making it safe for the dogs and has plenty of space to play lawn games, sunbathe or dine alfresco. Situated on the sun deck is a bubbling hot tub, so soak away the evening while stargazing.

Great location but, cottage requires modernising, very tired furniture, and outside decking area, downstairs toilet cannot be sat on, too close to a wall, no control of heating if you require it adjusted you have to message the owner, lots of laminated notes around the property some quite passive aggressive. Garden is not secure or pet friendly, onRead moree of the laminated notes requests your furry friends are not to use the garden but the pavement outside the property. Parking on road outside, always very busy and if parked in private parking area gate cannot be shut. Rusty radiators, very bad mould on tiles and shower screen in ensuite bathroom. Hide

Very comfortable and well equipped cottage that was spotlessly clean. Ideally positioned in a perfect location for exploring the area and surrounds. Very friendly and useful local facilities on the doorstep in the village and also in nearby Pickering. York city and places of interest including the coast in easy reach.
