Property code: OC-L30006

Studded on the cusp of Hannafore Beach, this contemporary yet cosy property is an idyllic couples retreat and well-placed for exploring Looe. Best of all, its spacious enough for your two canine companions to come along too and enjoy a special holiday of windswept coastal walks and long days padding across the shoreline. When the day is done, uncork a bottle of fizz and relax by the window, watching the world go by.

Accessed via a series of steps that lead up to the property, your accommodation is situated on the ground floor of an impressive building. Inside, the simple decor and comfortable furniture add to the overall relaxed charm, but the views are sure to set tails wagging. Rustle up something delicious in the kitchen area that’s equipped with everything you need for a feast. Dine with views of the Bay below from the vantage point of the table by the window, and let your meal settle as you curl up to watch TV. At bedtime, you’ll find a pretty king-size bedroom that features zip-and-link beds that can be converted into twins on request. Outside, there is a small shared lawn area and allocated parking for two cars.

South Cornwall is a diverse peninsula known for golden sandy beaches and craggy coastline, and this property is handily placed so you are never far from the sea. Based on the outer fringes of Beautiful Looe, you’ll soon sniff out a treasure trove of shops, cafes and restaurants that will surprise and delight your entire party. For your four-pawed pal, Hannafore and Praidy beach welcome furry visitors all year round, but there is an all-year dog ban on Looe’s East beach. This provides an excellent excuse to take to the coastal paths and enjoy exhilarating walks with a view.

Lovely stay, great views, super easy to find and to get into the property and always nice to have designated parking as we know Cornwall can be sometimes hard on this point. The road up from Looe needs some careful navigation both walking and driving, the steps up to the property might be a bit tricky for some, but minor issues. Would recommend.

We loved the location, efficiency of the heating - being able to turn on (lovely and warm when in) and off (when we went out) as required, and the VIEW of course! Well equipped for two people. Mattress comfort was ok. The table and chairs dominated the window view - we actually moved it away and put the two arm chairs there so we could enjoy the viRead moreew. The cafe kiosk down on the front was the perfect stroll and sold delicious food at extremely good prices! I only cooked once! Hide

The property is in a great location (provided you can manage the 27 steps and steep slopes). The sea view is excellent. The only downside is the poor wi-fi (which is more to do with the area of Cornwall rather than the property).

Lovely apartment fabulous views of the sea and surrounding area! We did find the steps and slopes a bit on the steep side to get up to the property being an older couple, but otherwise couldnt fault it!
