On the outskirts of Braunton, this welcoming stone-built cottage offers fantastic accommodation for families and couples seeking a relaxing getaway perfect for exploring an idyllic corner of North Devon. Just a few miles from the sparkling coast, the cottage has ample space for four guests, and there’s plenty of room for a pet dog to join too as you discover the area’s lovely sandy beaches, quaint resorts and gorgeous countryside. Featuring traditional wooden beams, whitewashed brick walls, pine latch doors and a wood burner, the property makes an inviting and tranquil holiday hideaway.

The cottage is full of character and offers a cosy lounge with an inviting wood burner and plenty of seating, making it a lovely spot to unwind in the evening. There’s a sweet dining room with a stylishly designed kitchen so you can rustle up all your favourite meals. Upstairs, you will have a choice of two tastefully furnished, beautifully decorated bedrooms. There’s a delightful double room and a charming twin, each with exposed timber beams and impressive skylights set in low, sloping ceilings. Outside, there’s a small terrace with outdoor furniture providing a lovely spot for a morning coffee. Steps lead down into the garden which has a patio and lawn with space for your four-legged pal to run about.

The centre of Braunton is about half a mile away, with a choice of great dog-welcoming places to eat and drink. There are some lovely beaches nearby – with some seasonal dog restrictions, including Saunton Sands, Croyde, Woolacombe and Putsborough Sands, all within 7 miles. The popular resort of Ilfracombe is 7.5 miles to the north, with the charming Victorian resort of Westward Ho! 16 miles south. Inland, Exmoor National Park (7 miles) offers some wonderful walks, or you can visit the thriving town of Barnstaple (6 miles).
