For those who love a glass of wine and the company of man’s best friend, we couldn’t offer a better holiday home than this Cornish vineyard cottage. Around 4.5 miles outside of Looe, the Looe Valley Vineyard offers fabulous tours and tastings. This pet-friendly bolthole is situated with uninterrupted views across the vineyard, offering a fantastic space to admire the view and sip a local tipple with Fido playing at your feet. The cottage itself sleeps two guests and two dogs and has been lovingly updated to an exceptional standard to ensure man and dog alike rest peacefully in between days filled with rewarding Cornish adventures.

Set tails wagging as you follow the pathway through the patio area and into the property. Please be advised that the outdoor space isn’t enclosed, so care should be taken with your excitable doggos. Once inside, underfloor heating will keep toes and paws warm in the coldest months. The lounge/kitchen/diner is an ever-cosy space with large windows offering natural light and great views. Find a cosy spot to sit and relax, letting Rover curl up by your feet as you switch on the Smart TV or enjoy some tranquil quiet. Along the hallway, a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower facilities is the final feature of this canine-compatible abode.

The surrounding Looe Valley offers a swathe of marvellous woodlands and riverside scenery, complete with endless opportunities for walkies that lead right from your doorstep. If your pups are less keen on long walks, head to Liskeard (3.5 miles) and take the Looe Valley Railway Line down to Looe, taking in the countryside from onboard. Once you reach this seaside village, take a 1-mile stroll up to Plaidy Beach (5.5 miles) to find an uninterrupted shingle shore where pets are welcome to play freely.
