This cosy, pet-friendly cottage promises a fabulous escape in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Each day, you can step out and explore walks in every direction, packing plenty of tennis balls and puppy treats for trips to the seaside and explorations of Somerset’s awe-inspiring rural scenery. Be sure to enjoy a local pint of cider at the pub and cider farm just 1 mile away, whilst your worn-out doggo rests their paws. With charming surroundings, this deceptively spacious, single-storey cottage for five guests and one dog is the perfect destination for your whole pack to unwind.

This lodge-style abode is filled with natural light and features country-style aesthetics throughout. The lounge/kitchen/diner with its original wooden floorboards boasts large windows overlooking the garden and a lovely wood burner set beside comfortable sofas. Rover will adore seeking out the most restful spot by the warmth of the wood burner, drifting off whilst you enjoy mealtimes and movie nights. The property features three bright and welcoming bedrooms with a shared bathroom, and finally, a handy utility room completes the interior accommodation. You can also spend time outside on the decked, furnished veranda whilst your furry friend sniffs around in the enclosed garden.

In a prime position for exploring the outdoors, this property is right on the edge of the Exmoor National Park and only 4 miles from the Quantock Hills AONB. It also benefits from a coastal location with the seaside town of Watchet offering a picturesque marina and plenty of pet-welcoming pubs just 2.5 miles away. Let your canine companion run wild on Doniford Beach (3.5 miles), a sand and shingle shore with no dog-related restrictions. Throw some tennis balls for your energetic pup and keep a keen eye out for fossils as you traverse the rocky terrain.
