Any canine companion, big or small, is welcome to join four guests in this stand-out accommodation choice. However, care should be taken in the outside space and around the lake as these areas are unenclosed.

The lodge-style charm of this property shines through in every room, with wooden panelling and floorboards adding to its authentic appeal. Your furry friend will adore having their entire pack in one space in the lounge/kitchen/diner, no doubt begging for scraps whilst you prepare meals before curling up beside you when it’s time to sink into the plush sofa. There’s also a wood burner on hand to keep things cosy when cold nights fall. Along the hallway, the two bedrooms each offer an en-suite and Smart TV. Outside, you can ease aching muscles after long and rewarding dog walks in your very own private hot tub, enjoying the lake view as you soak.

Let man’s best friend lead the way as you explore all the beauty spots in the vicinity, spending time in the Blackdown Hills (5 miles), the Dartmoor National Park (23 miles) and the East Devon coastline (20 miles). Closer to home, the property is surrounded by the Devonshire towns of Cullompton (3 miles), Tiverton (6 miles) and Somerset’s Wellington (9.5 miles), each offering plenty of circular walks, welcoming pubs, and lively town streets to be toured by less energetic pups.

  • Fishing available on-site and included in your stay – wet equipment is supplied for biosecurity (nets, mats and slings)
  • Fish stocks have been supplied by Priory Fishery: Willow is 2 acres and has been stocked with 110 carp that average 28lbs, with at least 30 different 30lbers. The lake record is 40lbs, while James’ Pool is 0.25 acres and offers Specimen Coarse Fishing with bream over 4lbs, crucians to 2.5lbs, 1lb golden rudd and tench over 7lbs.
  • Strictly no swimming or entering the lakes
  • Please advise on booking if fishing is to be included in your stay and the owner will contact you directly to arrange Shared lake for fishing only 2 people can fish per lodge (2 rods each, total of 4 rods/lodge)
  • Arrival: 15:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 1 dog allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.
