Inside, the bespoke shepherd’s hut has been beautifully decorated, with a relaxing, neutral colour palette and elegant fixtures and fittings to make you feel at home. Along the back wall is a carefully designed kitchen area with everything needed for a self-catering break, and opposite is a sweet breakfast bar for perching with a morning coffee or a light bite. Comfy, bench-style seating provides a cosy nook to relax with a good book, and a roaring wood burner creates the perfect dozing spot for the hound. Tucked away at the end of the hut is a sumptuous double bed and a Smart TV. Completing the accommodation is a refreshing shower room. Outside, you and the pup can soak up the fresh, countryside air on your private patio, where you’ll find a picnic bench for outdoor dining and a fabulous al fresco bath. Private parking is available for two cars.
The surrounding area is a paradise for walkers and four-pawed explorers, and you’ll find a multitude of beautiful routes to explore from your front door. Just 3 miles away you can join the long-distance Nidderdale Way, or head to nearby Brimham Rocks (2.5 miles) for a stroll amongst the fascinating formations that pre-date Jurassic times. The National Trust’s Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden (5.5 miles) makes a lovely doggy day out, with your waggy-tailed friend welcome in all the outdoor areas.
