I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay. The owners have done an incredible job with the renovations and the bathroom is stunning! It is also really well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable and I so loved waking up to the ducks quacking and then watching the house martins zooming about

This is a very cosy, beautifully decorated, well appointed, quiet cottage with great outdoor space for our furry friend. Friendly helpful owners and a great local, dog friendly pub only a 3 minute walk from the cottage. Great location for visiting this part of Yorkshire.

Beautifully equipt, spotless cottage with many thoughtful additions, in lovely location by the village pond. Excellent locations for walks nearby, several out of the front door. Easy parking and friendly pub closeby. Would highly recommend this cottage.

Absolutely amazing! Every little detail had been thought of and the cottage was so welcoming and cosy, Well equipped for everything you could think of. Even hand boxes of regularly forgotten items if you needed them! So thoughtful on every level. Duck Cottage is a charming cottage in an idyllic location. It is in immaculate condition with little personal touches everywhere, rare in holiday properties. Its a warm, cosy house and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday there. Wed love to go back!

Wonderful cottage that was warm and cosy. Perfect stay for us with a wood fire, lovely local pub and easy access to Hackfall woods for amazing walks. (The pub's food was outstanding if you have a spare evening to wander down 100 yards). Easy short trips to Ripon or access to National Trust properties for extra sight-seeing. Duck Cottage didn't disappoint! Beautifully presented (I need the interior designer 's details). A fantastic Twixmas break. The cottage had a wonderful Christmassy feel and was decorated so beautifully. Cosying up in the evening with the fire lit with the Christmas lights twinkling gave us a feel of 'The Holiday'. Such a lovely place to stay, especially over Christmas. Beautiful personal added touches, from the Christmas decorations & tree to really nice products and equipment within the cottage to use. We loved Duck Cottage.. It was very stylish and cosy. Lots of lovely touches. The basket of doggy necessities was much appreciated us and our dog. Great idea providing things you might have forgotten like Gaviscon, antihistamine and a host of other items in a basket under the bathroom sink. Duck cottage is a perfect base for a break in Yorkshire and really feels like a home-away-from-home. We had a most enjoyable, sunny week at Duck Cottage. The village is so quiet and peaceful with plenty of routes for walking and running from the door. We popped over to Fountains Abbey for parkrun and really enjoyed the course. The cottage is cosy and comfortable with a sheltered, sunny garden. Grewelthorpe is a very pretty Dales village and Duck Cottage is perfectly located to explore the area.
